The Lumiere Brothers
The eldest brother was born on the the 19th of October 1862 and the youngest on the 5th 1864. The Lumiere Brothers often filmed everyday life for example 'Arrival of a Train' was a shocking film at the time it was released. So much so that when people saw it men were scared and some women fainted.
Later in their careers they moved on to more comical movies, which was around 1895. For these reasons the Lumiere Brothers have often been referred to as the the "Fathers of Film'.
