Eadweard Muybridge Edison 

Muybridge was born in Kingston, Surrey and did some ground breaking work in photography, studies of motion and motion projection. One of his most famous works was the 'Horse in Motion'. 

Muybridge also invented the Zoopraxiscope in 1879 which was the first movie projector. Eadweard Muybridge Edison also influenced Thomas Edison.
